What is happening in Spain? For those who do not know, a few weeks ago the news broke that some influencers had decided to move their habitual and fiscal residence to Andorra to pay fewer taxes.

As I understand that not everyone is aware of what is happening in my country or what I am talking about, I will present the background.

Andorra is a micro-state with about 460 km2, located in the Pyrenees on the border between Spain and France, which is known for having reduced taxes and it is not uncommon that famous people for these reasons made the decision to move there, which they are doing it for many years already, but of course, as they did it with discretion nothing happened. But unfortunately for then, the scandal has arisen after the public announcement of the YouTuber “El rubius” — among others — to move to Andorra in one of his videos, and above all making it clear that he was doing it to reduce the payment of taxes.

In Andorra, the tax deduction is 10% when in Spain it is 47% for those who declare more than 60.000 euros per year in 2020.
